Bertha Mae Hervey Napier Templin was the 8th child of Henry Harrison Hervey and Lucia Stoner Hervey. Bertha was born at Concordia, KS. June 24,1888. She died June 5, 1983 in Escondido, CA. at the age of 95. Bertha was two years old when her mother died and she was adopted by a family named Scripters.
