      Wayne Benjamin

      Wayne L. Benjamin, 84, of Primrose died at 5:17 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Fort Madison Community Hospital.

      Wayne was born on April 5, 1920, the son of Leo and Elizabeth Schock Benjamin. He retired from Cargill in Des Moines. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the Donnellson American Legion.

      Survivors include two sisters, Doris Benjamin and Marjorie Benjamin, both of Primrose, and a nephew of Scottsdale, Ariz.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

      The family will meet with friends from 12:30 - 1:00 Monday, Oct. 25. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, at Hofbauer-Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson, with the Rev. Richard Bentzinger officiating. Burial will be in Acklem Cemetery, Primrose.

      A memorial has been established in his memory.
