This line is based on an theory that is supported by many researchers, but is not absolutely proven. That theory is that the father of Col. John Forbes (b. 1625 Alford, Aberdeenshire, Scotland , m. Constant Mitchell, 1637 Plymouth, Bridgewater, Massachusetts and d. 1661 Plymouth, Bridgewater, Massachusetts) is Rev. John Forbes (b. 1568 Corse, Aberdeen, Scotland, m. Christian Barclay in 1575, d. 28 MAR 1635 Delf, Holland)
