Spent early years on farm in Lamoine Township. Moved to Plymouth at about age
twelve. Worked at telephone office in Plymouth. Worked for IRS and Social
Security Administration in Springfield, IL. Enjoys sports and is especially
a big Chicago Cub and Fighting Illini fan.

Mom says Grandpa Charlie's hobby was keeping clean. He farmed in Lamoine
township until entering Bartonville state hospital except for two short
ventures in operating commercial establishments.

Charles married Sanford, Cora Belle on 28 Aug 1907 in Lamoine Twp., McDonough Co., IL, and was divorced in 1935. Belle and Charles Nelson Twidwell were divorced ca 1935. Belle worked at the
telephone office in Plymouth, IL after moving to Plymouth. She later married
Charles Schwanke and lived the remainder of her life in Plymouth.

According to cousin Vere Ferguson (shortly before his death), Richard Cox
may not have been the natural father of Aldo Knot Cox. He stated that he
was told that the natural father was Newell Sapp. Possibly it was John G.
Stoneking who lived with Richard & Elizabeth prior to Richard's death.
Elizabeth married Mr. Stoneking just over a month after Richard's death.
