HIMES, Ricky Wayne -- Ricky Wayne HIMES, 48, of Douds, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley, Ill.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The body has been cremated.

Mr. HIMES was born June 2, 1960, in Keosauqua, the son of Richard and Caroline HOUSE KELLY HIMES. He married Deb HOUSTON, who preceded him in death.

Mr. HIMES lived most of his life in Van Buren County. He was self-employed in the recycling business.

He enjoyed gambling and NASCAR.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Caroline and Vincent KELLY of Keosauqua; one daughter, Jennifer WILEY and husband Eric of Douds; one son, Dustin HOUSTON of Fairfield; three grandchildren; one sister, Peggy CHAMBERS of Keosauqua; and two brothers, Gerald HIMES of Denver, Colo., and Jeff HIMES of Douds.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his father and one daughter, Brandy Jo HIMES.

Debbie Houston Himes, 46, of Douds died at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

No service is planned. The body was cremated.

Behner Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Himes was born Nov. 19, 1957, in Des Moines, the daughter of Francis Gene and Rosemarie Quick Beliel. She married Rick Himes.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Dustin Houston; one daughter, Jennifer Houston; four brothers, Bill Beliel, Eugene Beliel, Joe Hesseltine and Dusty Hesseltine; and three sisters, Terri Beliel, Cheryl Beliel and Kim Gutierrez.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one infant daughter, Brandi Jo Himes.
