Neva E. Schowalter, Prairie Village, KS, passed Wednesday, January 20, 1999, at Lakeview Village Care Center. Private services will be held on Monday, January 25.
Mrs. Schowalter was born in Newton, KS. She attended Bethel College and graduated from The University of Southern California with a B.A. in music. She and her husband, Edgar P. Schowalter, who preceded her in death, lived in Kansas City, KS, where she was organist and choir director at the First Pilgrim Congregational Church for many years. She taught piano to hundreds of children during her lifetime. She was a member of the Village Presbyterian Church and P.E.O. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Bill Hudson; and grandchildren, Jennifer Hudson and Doug Hudson. (Arrangements: D.W.
