FLORISSANT, Mo. - Mary Jane Schowalter Jones, 81, of Florissant, Mo., died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000.

She was born on March 5, 1919, in Keokuk, the daughter of Edward and Edith Schowalter. She married Ralph Jones. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three children, Michael (Peggy), Gregory (Christine) and Jeffery (Shirley) Jones; six grandchildren, Kathryn, Kristine, Bryan, Jennifer, Jonathan and Jeffery Douglas Jr.; and a great-grandson, Nathan.

A private family service will be held.

Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4207 Lindell, St. Louis, Mo., 63108.

The Cremation Society of St. Louis was in charge of arrangements.
