After his marriage he settled in Leeds, formerly Livermore, Maine. Children: I. Columbus, married Esther Stafford; (second) the widow of his' brother Stillman. 2. Daniel, mentioned below. 3. Stillman, removed to Ohio; one of his three sons was governor of a western state. 4. Janet, married John Carver, her cousin. 5. Bethia, married Caleb Carver, brother of Janet's husband; she died of consumption eight months after her marriage.
