    Richard, Berwick, first at Boston where he m. 3 July 1656 Judith Smith, dau. of Thomas and gr.dau. of Simon of Stepney, co. Surrey, who named her and her husb. in his will 3 Oct. 1665. Barring divorce, it is impossible that he was the husb. of ?dau. Tozier? (with eldest s. John Green) who was alive and legatee of her fa. Robert Blott of Boston in 1662. Taxed Cochecho 1659 but that yr. mov. to Salmon Falls where he had Kittery gr. Bounds dispute with Wm. Piles 1667. Killed by Ind. 16 Oct. 1675, adm. to wid. 16 July 1676. Lists 25, 33, 298. Adm. on est.of his mo. Judith to s. Richard 18 June 1683. The real est. was conveyed in sixths. Ch: Thomas, b. Boston 5 May 1657, poss. killed with fa. Richard, ±70 in 1732, ±73 in 1733-4; m. wid. Judith, no rec. of her except that the mo. wa Judith ?sr.? in 1683. Elizabeth, m. Richard Randall (16). Ann, m. 1st Stephen Jenkins(12), m. 2d David Kincade(1), m. 3d Thomas Potts(2). See Corson.     Richard Tozier resided at Berwick, ME. He was first at Boston, MA, wher e he married in 1656. He was taxed at Cocheco in 1659, but that year mo ved to Salmon Falls where he had a Kittery grant. He had a boundary dis pute with William Piles in 1667. Richard, and probably his son, Thomas, w as killed by Indians in 1675.
