JACOB WOLF COFFINBERRY was born in Berkley County, Virginia, on Thursday, May 25, 1797. Married Miss Sallie Ann Galligher, who was born in Fredericks County, Virginia, on the 20th day of September. She was the first child of Robert and Elizabeth Galligher. They were united on the twenty-fifth day of March by the Rev. David Dutcher of the Methodist Episcopal Church
