- KEOSAUQUA - Frank M. Hayes, 67, of Keosauqua, died at 2:57 a.m. April 7, 2016, at home. He was born Oct. 19, 1948, at Davenport to Carl and Mildred McNatton Hayes and married Rita Jo Hervey April 25, 1987, at Center Chapel United Methodist Church, southeast of Keosauqua. Frank was a truck driver for Shipley Construction, Burlington, had been a driver for SEIDA and drove for several other trucking companies. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Surviving are his wife; four daughters; a son; a sister, Pamela Joab of Coralville; and a brother, Thomas Hayes of Elsberry, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. In accordance with his wishes, his body has been cremated and no services are planned. Memorials to Van Buren County Conservation Program may be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 395, Keosauqua 52565. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, is assisting the family.
