    • Obituary

      Florence E. Humphrey, 85, of Bonaparte and former Milton resident, died November 15, 1995, at University Hospitals in Iowa, City, Iowa.

      She was born May 9,1910 in Monmouth, Illinois to James and Hilda Salmon Baldwin. She married Lial Jesse Humphrey November 22,1928, in Greeley, Colorado. He died August 25, 1985. A resident of Bonaparte for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

      She is survived by four daughters, Shirley Baxter of Bonaparte, Iowa, Joanne Evans of Burlington, Iowa, Susan Nelson of East Moline, Illinois and Sandy Hainline
      of Bonaparte, Iowa, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a brother, Everett
      Baldwin of Monmouth, IL.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandchildren, two brothers, Otis and Orville Baldwin and a sister, Marcella Lutz.

      Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 1995 at the Baptist Church in Bonaparte, conducted by Pastor Larry Wagner. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton. Wagler Funeral Home, Bloomfield was in charge of arrangements.

      A memorial has been established.
