After Williams death, his widow Nancy came to Ohio with her three children 1798. Nancy was married in 1863 to Daniel Ernst, whether prior to her coming to Ohio or after arriving in Ohio is uncertain.

Daniel Earnst from Pennsylvania married Nancy Kesey. He was Nancy's second husband, her first being William Stenger. Daniel and Nancy were my fourth great grandparents. They migrated to Carroll County, Ohio. They are buried in the Champer Cemetery in Carroll County, Ohio. Daniel died between 1839-1840. Daniel and Nancy's daughter, Elizabeth, married Jacob Champer, and Daniel and Nancy's daughter, Susan, married David Champer, Jacob's brother. Jacob and David's father was Jacob Schample/Schamper.
Their son, Daniel, married Susannah Harsh and were my third great grandparents. After Susannah died, Daniel married Caroline Burger/Burgett. They migrated to Union, Davis County, Iowa.
Daniel and Susannah's son, William Earnst, married Hannah Vorhis. They migrated to Craig, Nebraska. Their son, William Ernst, married Eva Margaret McPherson. Their son, Ira Ernst, married Nettie Olive Enyeart. They were my paternal grandparents. Their son, Glenn Ernst, married Annabelle Stigers, and were my parents. They met in 1943 while Glenn was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky. After he got out of the Army, Glenn and Ann made their home in Louisville, Kentucky. My father died on August 3, 1962, and my mother (who never remarried), died on September 28, 2002. I am their only child.
