TO ALL CHRISTIAN PEOPLE to whom these presents shall come, Greeting: Know Ye, Yt, I, AERT WILLIAMS, of Phillipsburgh, in ye County of Westchester & Province of New York, Yeoman, for & in consideration of ye sum of EIGHTEEN POUNDS current money of New York aforesd., to me in hand paid by GODRREY HAINES, of Rye, in the County & Province aforesd. Yeoman, ye receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge & myself to be therewithfully satisfied & contented & thereof & from every part thereof do acquit & discharge he ye sd. Godfrey Haines, his heirs & execrs. By these presents forever have given, granted, bargained & sold & by these presents absolutely do give, grant, bargain & sell unto ye sd. Godfrey Haines his heirs & assigns forever, ALL yt a certain parcell of land scituate lying & being in ye Township of RYE, on a certain neck of land comonly called BuddÂ’s Neck, bounded southerly by ye old Mill path so called, easterly be ye land of ye sd. Godfrey Haines, westerly by ye land of John Loundsberry & to run northerly from the first bounds ten rods in bredth tell it meets with some other lands of the said Godfrey Haines be ye estimacon or quantity thereof what it will in ye bounds more of less. TOGETHER with all & singular ye buildings improvements fenceings ways, easements, profits privileges & advantages unto ye said parcell of land belonging or in anyway appertaining. AND also all ye right, title, interest, property, claim & demand whatsoever of me ye sd, Aert Williams & Mary my wife, of or unto ye same premises hereby granted & sold or to any part thereof. TO HAVE & TO HOLD ye sd. Bargained premises & every part thereof unto he ye sd. Godfrey Haines, his heirs & assigns to ye only proper use, benefit of him ye sd. Godfrey Haines, his heirs & assigns forever. AND I ye sd. Aert Williams & Mary, my wife, for ourselves, our heirs & execrs. do convenant, grant & agree to & with ye sd. Godfrey Haines, his heirs & assigns yt at ye time of ye execucon hereof we are ye true & sold owners of above granted & bargained premises & have in ourselves, good right full power & lawfull authority to grant bargain & sell ye same in manner as aforesd. AND further yt it shall & may be lawfull to & for ye sd. Gidfrey Hains, his heirs & assigns by force & virtue of these presents upon ye premisesaforsd. To enter & ye same & every part thereof at all times hereafter forever quietly & peaceably to have hold use occupy possess & enjoy & yt freely & clearly acquitted exonerated & discharged of & from all & all manner of former gifts grants, bargains, sales, alienations joynters, dowries wills, entails & all other incumbrances whatsoever. And I ye sd. Aert Williams & Mary, my wife, & our successors ye premises aforsd. & every part thereof unto ye sd. Godfrey Hains, his heirs & assigns against us our heirs & assigns & against every other person & persons shall & will warrant & forever secure & defend by these presents. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we ye sd. Aert Williams & Mary my wife have caused this deed of sale to be make & have hereunto set our hands & seals, this twenty ninth day of March, in ye eleventh year of his Majties Reign Annoq Dom. One thousand seven hundred & twenty five.

MEMORANDUM that on ye 6th Aprill, 1725, John Carhart one of evidences to ye within Deed of Sale personally appeared before me William Willett, Esqr., Judge of the Inferiour Count of Comon Pleas for Westchester County & declared on oath ye he saw AERT WILLIAMS & MARY, his wife, ye grantors hereof execute ye same as there volunatry act & deed & I do allow ye same to be recorded.
