He m. Jan. 20, 1768, Mary, dau. of Daniel Arms, who d. Dec. 2, 1785, ae. 38. He sold his homestead in Deerfield, 1793, and, it is said d. in Bennington, Vt.

This seems to indicate that Anna passed and Medad married (2) Martha. There is no record of this Medad’s death in Massachusetts that I can find so he probably moved on with his new wife. In fact, by 1780 Medad and Martha have a child, Henry**, at Sanford’s R
idge, Warren County, NY. Then by 1785 (see below) he owns land in Fort Ann.

1785, April 5, "another meeting was held at the house of Medad Harvey, Esq. a little over a mile south of the present village of Fort Ann" Medad Harvey was elected supervisor, constable, and "overseers of the highway."
