- . SIMEON, son of Samuel (2), b. 1743; blacksmith, settled in Deerfield. He was a soldier of the Revolution, and seems to have been a man of standing and very considerable influence in Deerfield. He m. Jan. 20, 1768, Mary, dau. of Daniel Arms, who d. Dec. 2, 1785, ae. 38. He sold his homestead in Deerfield, 1793, and, it is said d. in Bennington, Vt.
