  The Burlington Hawkeye - Maxine Krebill\ Maxine L. Krebill, 91, of Donnellson, died at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Fort Madison Community Hospital in Fort Madison. Born Dec. 30, 1917, in Donnellson, she was the daughter of Ernest and Eva Hertzler Hackard. On March 31, 1936, she married Ivan W. Krebill in Virginia, Ill. He died April 2, 2003. Mrs. Krebill was a member of Zion Mennonite Church in Donnellson. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. Survivors include two grandsons, Ron Krebill of Kansas City, Kan., and Brian Warson of Donnellson; one granddaughter, Alana Warson of Chicago; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, her parents and three brothers. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory in Donnellson where family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The funeral for Mrs. Krebill will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Audrey Ratzlaff officiating. Burial will be in Zion Mennonite Cemetery in rural Donnellson. A memorial has been established for Zion Mennonite Church.
