Lifelong Ventura County resident William Robert Krebill, 47, died Sunday, April 17, 2005, after a brief illness.
He was born Jan. 26, 1958, in Ventura to Kenneth and Betty Krebill and graduated from Ventura High School in the class of 1977. Bill made his career as a heavy equipment transporter for United Rentals, enjoying more than 20 years with the company. He loved everything about the great outdoors, especially camping, fishing, jet-skiing and four-wheeling. He also enjoyed watching classic movies.
Bill is survived by his mother, Betty Krebill of Ventura; brother, Jim Krebill of Ventura; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and John Relerford of Bakersfield; nephew, Ryan Relerford of Bakersfield; niece, Chrissy Schwerdtfeger of Ventura; and many distant relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, also at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, with Pastor Ron Dybvig of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Santa Paula officiating. Bill will be laid to rest with his father, Kenneth Krebill, in a private interment service at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road, Ventura. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home and Crematory, Ventura.
