Lucerne M. Eberle, 86, of Blackwell passed away Aug. 4, 2009.Lucerne M. Eberle was born Sept. 8, 1922, in Deer Creek to Roy Virgil and Icy Pearl (Kerr) Northcutt. She married Bill Gene Goodman in 1941. Bill passed away while in the service. She married Lawrence Harry Eberle Sept. 8, 1946, in Marion, Kan. She attended Nardin Methodist Church and later the First United Methodist Church in Blackwell. When she visited her son in Stillwater, she attended Lakeview Church. She is survived by one son C. Fred Eberle and wife Tommie of Stillwater; one brother, Roy "Junior" Northcutt of Blackwell; nine grandchildren, Mark Goodman and wife Parapath of El Cajon, Calif., Troy Goodman of Phoenix, Ariz., Todd Goodman and wife Jo of Blackwell, Shannon Goodman and wife Wendy of Phoenix, Ariz., Kelle Ko and Stacy of Lomita, Calif., Krista Valentine and husband Chris of Ponca City, Kathy McNabb and husband Cameron of Perry, Kimbra Roush and husband Kelly of Norman, and Karrie Torrance and husband Mike of Kansas City, Mo.; thirteen great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and caregiver Karen Laweence.Preceded in death by husband Lawrence, parents, son Billy F. Goodman, great granddaughter Kolby Goodman and brother Dewey Northcutt.Services 2 p.m., Aug. 7, 2009, at Nardin Methodist Church with Dr. David Chapman of Lakeview Church and Rev. Robert Foos of Nardin Methodist Church. Burial follows at Bayard Cemetery of Deer Creek.A memorial that has been set up includes Lakeview Church building fund of Stillwater in care of Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
