Doris Benjamin
Doris I. Benjamin, 88, of Primrose, died at 2:38 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at Montrose Health Center.
Born Feb. 28, 1919, in Primrose, she was the daughter of Leo and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Schock Benjamin.
Ms. Benjamin taught school for many years in the Des Moines School District. She enjoyed reading.
Survivors include one sister, Marjorie B. Benjamin of Primrose; and special nephew, Jack Benjamin Jones of Golden, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory in Donnellson where the family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1 p.m.
The funeral for Ms. Benjamin will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory in Donnellson, with the Rev. Barb Krueger officiating. Burial will be in Acklem Cemetery near Primrose.
