- Moundridge Journal
William F. Helms, 67, died Friday at Mercy Hospital. He was a retired farmer and laborer and was a member of the United Methodist Church. Mr. Helms was born March 14, 1907 at Pauls Valley, Okla., and was married to Myrtle Ann Auernheimer on December 23, 1936 in Marion County.
Surviving are the widow; two sons, Dick D. of Inman and Billie D. of Moundridge; two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Powers of Halstead and Mrs. Betty Nichols of Clarksdale, Miss.; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services were this afternoon at West Zion Mennonite Church. Interment was in West Zion Mennonite Church Cemetery.
