- She was born in Woodford on Jan. 26, 1920, the daughter of Frank Edwin and Florence Ellen (Cosgrove) Harvey. She married Victor D. Tracy Sr. on Feb. 26, 1936. Mr. Tracy died Oct. 12, 1986. Mrs. Tracy is survived by four sons, Ralph Edwin Tracy of Fitchburg, Mass., Charles Edgar Tracy of Townsend, Mass., David Wayne Tracy of Vine Grove, Ky. and Michael Tracy of Brattleboro; two daughters, Marilyn Castor of Vernon and Linda Bates of West Granville, N.Y.; 29 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Victor Tracy Jr.; her daughter, Valerie Tracy Hoyt; three brothers, George, Henry and Leslie Harvey; and four sisters, Alice Powers, Flora Tracy, Helen Henry and Dorothy Underhill.
Funeral services and interment for Mrs. Tracy will be held in the spring in Sadawga Cemetery in Whitingham. There are no visiting hours.

BRATTLEBORO -- Carrie E. Tracy, 85, of Oak Grove Ave. in Brattleboro, died unexpectedly, Thursday, March 17, 2005 at the Eden Park Nursing Home in Brattleboro.
She was born in Woodford on Jan. 26, 1920, the daughter of Frank Edwin and Florence Ellen (Cosgrove) Harvey and attended local schools. She was employed at Mt. Snow in West Dover for many years but enjoyed taking care of her home.
She enjoyed taking long rides, working outside with her flowers and working on crossword puzzles. She always had a smile for everyone she met and cherished spending time with her family.
She married Victor D. Tracy Sr. on Feb. 26, 1936. Mr. Tracy died Oct. 12, 1986.
