      sion roll of Providence Co., 181S, for service of private in the
      Connecticut Continental Line. He was born in Ashford,
      Conn. ; died in Rhode Island.

      Josiah Harvey, (1745-1802), served as surgeon's mate in Col.
      John Fellow's regiment of Massachusetts militia, 1775. He
      was born in East Haddam, Conn. ; died in West Granville,
      Mass.

      Elijah Carpenter, (1752-95), served as private and corporal
      in the Connecticut militia. He was born in Thompson, Conn.,
      where he died.
