Tammy Bean, 56, of Bloomfield, Iowa died February 27, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. She was born February 5, 1958 in Bloomfield, Iowa to Leo Wayne and Bernice R. Goldizen Hervey. She married Daniel Bean October 6, 1980 in Mediapolis, Iowa. He preceded her in death April 2, 1986. Tammy was a homemaker. She loved fishing, gardening, and bird watching.
She is survived by her two sons, Matthew Bean, Mark Bean both of Ottumwa, Iowa; father, Wayne Hervey of Cantil, Iowa; two brothers, Alan Hervey of Troy, Iowa, Paul Hervey of Hubbard, Iowa; two sisters, Julie Hervey of Ottumwa, Lisa Sharp of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and husband.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2014 with the family present to greet friends from 2-3:00 p.m. at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Cremation will follow the visitation and burial of the cremains will be at a later date at Burlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Burlington, Iowa. A memorial has been established to her family.
