    • William and his sister, Aggie, helped take care of Lillian and Edward after the death of their mother, Margaret Blake Fablinger. They were the children of Nicholas Fablinger. William was the postmaster of the Blanding Post Office and after the death of his father in 1904, he took over the family farm. In the census of 1860, he was five years old. In 1889, 1904, and 1916, he was living in Blanding, Illinois.
