In the name of God Amen. I Patrick KINDRICK of Russell County and Commonwealth of Virginia being in perfect health and of sound mind and memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death do make and declare this my Last Will and Testament and as for the worldly estate wherewith it has pleased the Almighty to bless me I give and dispose of the same in the following manner viz:

I give and bequeath unto Molly HORTON the sum of five shillings.

I give and bequeath unto Isabel HORTON the sum of five shillings.

I give and bequeath unto my son William KINDRICK the sum of five shillings.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane LOCK the sum of five shillings.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Frances RICHIE the sum of five shillings.

I give and bequeath unto my son Patrick KINDRICK the sum of five shillings.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rachel JOHNSON the sum of five shillings.

And for and in consideration of the dutiful behaviour and industry of my son George KINDRICK it is my will and desire that he may possess all the remainder of my Estate and I do hereby give and bequeath the hole of the same to my son George KINDRICK and his heirs or assigns reserving unto my beloved wife Jane her saddle and her choice of any one of the horses or mares I may die possessed of as also the best bed and furniture to it, a chest and her cloathing all which it is my will and desire she may dispose at her death as she may think proper and I do hereby acknowledge this and no other to be my last will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this Tenth day of September eighteen hundred and three.

Signed sealed and delivered by the said Patrick KINDRICK to be his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have Signed our names as witnesses thereunto in his presence.

At a court of Quarterly Session held for Russell County on the 4th day of June 1805.

This Instrument of writing was exhibited in court as and for the last will and Testament of Patrick KINDRICK dec'd and proven by the oaths of Harry SMITH and Travis KINDALL witnessess thereto and ordered to be recorded.

And on motion of George KINDRICK Letters of Administration with the will annex'd is granted him on the Estate of the said Patrick KINDRICK
deceas'd he having forth made oath thereto and entered in and acknowledged his bond in the penal sum of five hundred Dollars together with Harry SMITH and Simeon JACKSON his securites conditioned as the Law directs.
