This family lived in Prince William Co VA, Mason Co KY, and Pendleton Co KY. Son (or grandso n?) was Judge Napoleon B. Taylor of Indianapolis IN. Mary & 2 children died when home was st ruck by lightning.
Mary married Taylor, Dr. Robert in Jan 1782. Dr. was born on 28 Jul 1758; died on 11 Dec 1851. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

James was on George Rogers Clark's Expedition. Received 200 acres in KY. Also may have serv ed in the NC Continental Line, Capt Henry Dixon's Co, 1st Regt during the american Revolution . If this is the same man, he married Levina Gillespie, 6 Feb 1802 in Caswell Co NC.

Notes for JOHN Summers:
John was named in the "Summers Family Ledger" as a son of George, but I am unsure where he fi ts, because in "Annals of Platte Co MO", pg 248-50, his father lived to 114, and he had a bro ther named Samuel. He was a Rev. War Soldier- listed his children in his pension application . He enlisted March 1781 in Frederick Co VA to serve in teh War. Moved from Fairfax Co VA t o KY in 1789. Lived in Bourbon, Montgomery, Jessamine and Fleming Counties. Moved to Platt e Co MO after 1820 (or his children did??).
John married Bell, Agnes on 26 Oct 1786 in , Frederick, Virginia. Agnes was born about 1765 in of, Frederick, Virginia; died after 1848 in MO or KY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
