He was born in Wil. Zürich, Switzerland. He moved to America with his parents 2 brothers an d uncle and they settled in Iowa. Also his birth and Bap. dates were confirmed from the micr ofilm of the Wyl church records that the LDS Family History Center in Salt Lake City owns.
