- By process of elimination, Parden's parents "could" be Samuel Harvey b 1746 and his wife Rachel Marbel b. 1748. The dates fit and they had a daughter, Parmelia, who ended up in central MIchigan and was enumerate once in St. Joseph County. LIttle is known about Samuel & Rachel's othe children as they moved between the US and Canada. NO PROOF IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME FOR THIS CONJECTURE.
